Oklahoma Outlaws Baseball 5/19/09 : These photos are from the opening game for the summer season of American Legion baseball in the Oklahoma City area. Doug Weese #30, the head coach and very good friend of mine, came out of his 2 year retirement to coach the Oklahoma Outlaws again. This was his first game back and my first attempt at shooting a sport at night. I didn't get as many photos to turn out as I had hope for but I hope you enjoy them all the same. Thanks to Doug and his wife, Lianne, who are two of the greatest people on the planet, for their continued friendship and for their selflessness in giving their time and energy to others. Love you both.

Wind and Sea Surfing/March 2008 : These photos were taken at a popular surfing spot in La Jolla, CA., called Wind and Sea. It is my first attempt at photographing surfers and the sport of surfing.

Dallas Cowboys offseason training 2007 : I was fortunate to be able to have done fitness work for the Dallas Cowboys a few years back. Joe Juraszek, the head strength and conditioning coach for the Cowboys, and I had worked together while we were both at Oklahoma University. He was also the head strength coach there and I also did fitness work for the team during that time. When he got the position with the Cowboys, he brought me in for some aerobic conditioning during the off-season to add a little variety to the workouts. Joe has been the head strength and conditioning coach for the team for over 10 years now. A testament to his great work ethic, coaching ability and desire to add innovative techniques to old school training for a perfect combination of workouts. He is an outstanding technician in the area of weight training and I attribute everything I know about weight training to his knowledge and guidance. I was in Dallas recently to shoot a conference for CareFlite and I thought it might be a good opportunity to take some photos of the guys doing some off-season training while I was there. I thought it would be a way to show another side of football that most people don't get to see. I would like to thank Joe and all the guys for letting me expose some of the behind the scenes, off-season training. Best wishes to all of you for a winning season. I'll be watching!!!

Del Mar Races 8/2/08 : The happen to go to the races on day and of course I took my camera. I love looking at the horses as they are such beautiful animals. I don't have special access so these were all taken from the regular person's point of view. They first bring the horses out to walk them around a circle and show them to the people. The owners usually congregate inside the circle and talk to the jockeys when they come out to mount the horses, before being led into the main track area to load them into the gates. Most of these photos were taken from the circle location. I wasn't able to get all of the horses names from the different times and races that I took photos.

Chargers Game Photos : Through the generosity of friends, I have been able to attend two Chargers games this year. Most of the photos are from the Chargers/Raiders game. A few on the last page are from the Chargers/Chiefs game. Hopefully someday I can shoot from the sidelines. That would be a dream come true.
